Technical Project Management Specialist
**General Description**
The person in this role will be responsible for negotiating and leading the engineering duties related to commercial projects and new technology trials such as resource planning, coordination of design, development, verification, and product support from concept to commercialization for wireless products. The job will require the ability to grasp moderate level of technical aspects of the project as well as the unique selling points of a product. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Track and execute project schedules, milestones and deliverables for commercializing wireless products from wireless carrier lab entry to approval
* Interface proactively and effectively with corporate Korean development engineering teams, US support team, department team members as well as various client wireless carriers engineering personnel
* Use technical engineering knowledge and experience to understand customer technical requirements and test cases
* Translate customer issues into specific tasks for all functional areas and proactively capture, track and drive issues to closure
* Correctly represent the urgency of issues and escalate issues appropriately
* Work closely with the hardware and software engineering teams, product managers, and quality assurance team, and use creative ways to find solutions to technical and logistic issues
* Constantly seek process improvements in order to achieve efficiency, better quality, service reliability and overall outstanding customer experience
* Make recommendations to management personnel or product development engineers on corrective actions required and effectively adapt solutions in a timely manner to ensure correct and effective product launches and installation
**Necessary Skills / Attributes**
* A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, a related field with 4-6 years of directly related experience is required
* Prior experience in telecommunications engineering activities utilizing GSM, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, LTE, VoLTE and IMS is required
* Project Management of software and hardware products is required
* Strong technical background and experience working with wireless products in lab and field environments to evaluate functionality, quality and standards conformance to ensure interoperability of products
* Working experience on wireless carrier certification
* The ability to develop and maintain excellent technical skills including proactive, customer service oriented working relationships with all appropriate levels within and outside the company
* Must be able to plan, organize and prioritize multiple engineering support assignments and projects as directed by the manager of the group and/or department leads
* The ability to read, write and provide technical review and prepare reports, technical manuals, test procedures and technical product repair information based on corporate engineering standards and philosophy
* In customer service related situations demonstrate high competency level in communication skills using both oral and written modes for internal and external personnel
* Must be able to communicate in writing, through email and reports, or orally complex technical matters to an audience that may include less technically oriented listeners
* Work independently and in a team environment in order to achieve personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames. Tasks are guided by clearly defined objectives and functional direction with an implied knowledge of task alternatives and decision making experience
* Skills and knowledge to test and evaluate new wireless products, including the verification of product features by simulation and/or reproduction of errors and complaints of wireless products
* The demonstrated ability to solve problems involving highly diverse conditions requiring creativity to search for solutions among learned things
* Must have excellent MS Office proficiency
