Sr. Sales Operations Specialist - Seattle
**General Description**
The Sr. Sales Operations Specialist is the focal and control point for all sales operations activities that occur within either the National or Regional Account responsibility. Sales Operation responsibilities include: Sales Forecasting, Logistics and SCM liaison to field sales, Customer Process identification and improvement, Customer P&L; Analysis, SCM initiatives, Event & Holidays reporting, Chargeback Reduction and True-up Initiatives, Service Support, Product Return Reduction Initiatives, International factory audits, Pallet, Carrier and Packaging support optimization, display/promotion/damages reporting and logistics, and misc. as required. This position will support the following categories: - TV and DAV - IT including Tablets, Displays, PC, Monitors, DI and Memory & SSD ========================================================================= ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: All Operational responsibilities within the sales office structure including Operational Process Improvement (both internal and external (customer), Supply Chain Initiatives, Sales Planning & Forecasting Tools and Sales Trend Analysis, Customer Chargeback reduction and resolution. Activities have a direct impact on both Sales revenue and profitability within the assigned account base. Position will also maintain strong relationship with customers as well as with Samsung Sales, Marketing, SCM and Finance to provide simulation reports for each of the responsible categories to provide the following details: - WOS Simulation and sell thru analysis per category group on a weekly basis, as needed - Inventory analysis and recommendations for Sales and Marketing to review on weekly calls - CPFR summary analysis based on weekly CPFR call for each product group - Ensuring all PO's sent by customer are received and processed in a timely manner to ensure on-time delivery and meeting weekly KPI requirements - Setting up conditions in advance for all product categories to ensure proper process of claims - Reviewing and analyzing claims with BOC to ensure proper claims process - Coordinating all pre-Event and Holiday logistics strategies and management by product
**Necessary Skills / Attributes**
College degree (BS/MBA) with 3-8 years in Business, Finance, SCM, Logistics or related experience; CE industry, computer proficient including MS Office suite. General knowledge of SAP and BI reporting and systems. Skill Base should include strong communication, detail orientation, organization, ability to work with all levels of management both within and outside of Samsung, and leadership. Financial Analysis and Process Improvement experience is preferred
