Senior Engineer II
**General Description**
Conduct non-complex design of devices, test methods equipment, and electrical components. Design and perform test plans to ensure accurate and consistent product lab testing. Perform systems testing, verification, and work to resolve issues related to Wireless Gateway, Evolved Messaging Services (EMS) Server and their related test equipment. Conduct non-complex prototype product, equipment, and component tests; system simulations; and software functional program tests. Evaluate products and devices for environmental and application conditions. Write non-complex code to automate test set-ups and procedures. Assist with creation of Test Plan, Trouble Reports, automation scripts, and Method of Procedure (MOP); generate problem reports; and ensure the satisfactory resolution of all problems.
**Necessary Skills / Attributes**
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related field, or a foreign equivalent, plus five (5) years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in telecommunications engineering. Experience must include Clearcase/DDTS, CORBA ORB, Exceed, Paradym+, Visio, Visual, Java, C++, MS project, and PC and UNIX Workstation in a LAN/WAN systems environment.
